Stichting de Noordzee

A sweet fundraiser with a salty aftertaste

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Stichting de Noordzee we introduced the ‘Noordzeebanket’. A sweet treat with a serious message.

The Noordzeebanket is a play on the renowned marbled chocolate seashells. This version was a wake-up call that showed a less-tasteful side of The North Sea. All the beautiful shells and seahorses were replaced by crushed plastic bottles, broken seashells, and polluting container ships. Showing that Holland's largest nature reserve is under pressure.

Luckily this initiative allowed you to support the North Sea in a delicious way. By buying the box and eating chocolate!

PR Value €96K & Total reach 2.7M

With only €5K to spend on media, we were forced to deliver an idea that would earn it’s attention. The Noordzeebanket did exactly that, leading to €96K PR value and a total reach of 2.7 million.

Social engagement x50

The North Sea Foundation wants to make people aware of everything they do to protect and preserve Holland’s largest nature reserve and get people involved and engaged. The Noordzeebanket led to 50 times more engagement on their owned social media channels than usual.

Website visits +112%

We not only reached and engaged a lot of people, we actually make them visit the website to find out more and order a box of chocolates for themselves – and with that donate to the foundation.

Building brands the NEEW way.
Why would I spend my precious time and money on it?

We always put people at the centre everything we create and ask ourselves the question: is what we’re creating truly adding value and relevant to them? Would they care to spend their time and money on it?

Is it worth talking about and would I share it with peers?

Whatever we create should be unique, ownable and distinctive. It should be worth talking about and spark conversations or provoke reactions.
It should be worth sharing as ideas people share with peers, need less paid media to become a success.

Is it a star worthy experience?

We always strive to create 5-star experiences (in the broadest sense of the word). Attractive, appealing, relevant, touching and accessible. A positive-review-magnet if you like. Executed to perfection in every touch point and in all media channels.

Why would people love it?

We build brands people love. Make stuff with impact; stuff that touches them. We find what makes them tick and give them what they love. Things they want and need or didn’t yet know they wanted or needed.
